Friends, Fear and Blogging vs. Vlogging?
Hey everyone, I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a little while, I’m still new to bloggin and I find it hard trying to come up with what to write. Well actually, the weird thing is I would get ideas to talk about and start writing in my head but the lose it later when I sit at the computer…ugh. I’m going to start making a list of tops to write about so I’ll get more ideas and post more (hopefully they’ll be good ideas haha)
Anyway, I’ve been bouncenig around on the internet and I’ve noticed something common amongst bloggers.
So any bloggers out there who are afraid to tell your friends you blog? Or to link your blog to your facebook or something beucase you’re worried what people would think about you based on what you write? Or is it just that you have people on facebook you aren’t really friends with and don’t want them to know? I find this kind of interesting and I’m just curious what other blogger’s stand point was.
Another thing I wanted to ask was what do you think about vlogs? Are they better then blogs? I’ve been watching a few vlogs lately and I’m kind of interested in doing them. Suggestions on ideas or good vlogs? Comments, qestions, suggestions, whatever you have to say is welcome. =)
Oh one more thing…the white on black…is it too dazzleing? I’ve got a couple of comments saying that white font on a black background isn’t the best. What do you think?
Well that’s all I got for now, please tell me what you think, I’ve love to know. =) Hope to talk to you soon, bye for now!

I did it!
When I first started this blog I said that I would offer tips and tutorials for artist who would like some help and opinions on how I do art. Well I’ve given some tips but now I did it! I finished my first tutorial!
You may have noticed a new page on the homepage bar called “Tutorials” that, of course, is where you can find the tutorials I’ve made. There is only one right now (for now!) but I’m planning on making ones for eyes, lips, hair ect. If anyone has any suggestions on tutorials they’d like for me to make, you’re more then welcome! =)
So the tutorial I made doesn’t have the full finished painting I did to make it. It’s just a basic blending lesson so I didn’t think it was needed for me to show how to paint an entire picture (if you’d like to see that though, let me know
).
So here is the final image:
TwiggXstock is the model of this painting. She take stock photos in deviantart, her photos are amazing; I enjoyed painting her. She allowed me to use her photo in my first tutorial and post it on my site, thank you. =)
I hope you all like this photo and the tutorial and I hope the tutorial helps you. Let me know if something isn’t clear or if there is a tutorial or painting you’d like to see me do. Thanks, I’ll talk to you all soon! ^.^

This is “Snoverkill”
We got it bad, man. Here in Maryland we only get about maybe 1-3 inches of snow, MAYBE! Where I live, when is snows we never get out of school – that’s how little snow we get. But this year – this February we got it bad; this snow makes up for the last decade of not getting out of school. This year our wimpy 3 inches turned into 30!!
Ok so the snow started to fall last Friday (the 5th) around 10 am I think (before I woke up haha) and it snowed aaaalllll day! It was pretty heavy snow. I went outside that night and the next morning to take pictures. I felt like I was being attacked by the flakes – as if they didn’t want to get their picture taken..the nerve. So this is what I got:
But hey, that’s not all! It started snowing yet again on Wednesday!
So as you can see from the above photos, there is no swinging nor driving. The big white pile of snow behind that bush two pictures up is my neighbors car. They haven’t touched it since it started snowing so that’s the product of two snow storms and no shoveling. The last picture – see that tiny sliver of green (maybe gray in this pic) next to that truck? Yeah that’s my dad’s car; it was a “dude, where’s my car” moment when I took the pic.
So anyway, my friend and I took this opportunity to play in the snow. (We’re such children! hehe) We mostly just raced to stuff becuase the snow was so high, it came up to above my knee! (but then again I’m short haha) And we rolled down the hill in her backyard. lol We’ll probably play in the snow again as is slowly melts away (probably be june by the time it’s all gone! lol)
What kind of things do/did you like to do in the snow? I personally never liked snowball fights…I have bad aim and I’m small so it never worked out. lol

My Inspiration
Hey all, right now I’m working on that Green Lantern drawing that has been on hold for a while now (finally!! lol) but I’m having trouble getting back in rhythm of how I was doing it.
Sooo, I decided to take a mini break (“but you barely started!” says a voice in my head. “hush!” I say) and I remembered these pieces of art I found on the internet I have on my computer that are just utter master pieces!
I shall share them with you now. =)
This is a promotional picture for Assassin’s Creed (I love that game!!!!) I found this on Google images and I when I found this it was huge! I had to down size this alot. I liked it big though. I think art work is better big so you can zoom in and see all the detail and better appreciate. (Plus it’s much easier adding detail on a large canvas then a small one lol)
This is “Crow” by Andrius Balciunas. She’s a CG artist (and musician), she’s also known as Cryinghorn online. Her work is amazing, this is my favorite.
I’m not sure if this has a name but I think it’s by Soa Lee. I just love piece lol
This is Lida by Yu Cheng Hong. Once I saw this I couldn’t help but admire for a good ammount of time. lol Not sure how long I stared at this but it’s so beautiful and inspired me so much, just as the other pieces did.
I love CG art so much! Google is like my best friend when it comes to art; I search for art all the time and I find so much inspiration on some sites. Youtube is my biggest source for inspiration; I search for photoshop, paiting, digital art, stuff like that and I always manage to find something new. Searching for inspiratoin and looking at art made me learn alot about how to do it too. Hopefully I can come up with a tutorial or something to share what I learned with you =)
Until we meet again, what are some of your favorite pieces of art? What do you find inspiration from?
